....or lack thereof.
When I was younger, my family and friends constantly pointed out that I was thin. "You're so freaking skinny!" a boy exclaimed at youth group. I was an avid swimmer and runner, until I was about 24, I worked out religiously.
As the years have gone on, I slowly began to lose tone. I wore roughly the same size, but nothing fit quite as well. With dismay, I admitted that I have begun to take on the shape and consistency of a gumdrop.
It makes me wonder if I would have been quite so slim in my younger days without vigorous exercise. From the time I began walking until I was about 24 years old, I exercised regularly. If I hadn't been so active, would I have been so freaking skinny?
